iMac G4 issues

so pulled out 800 mhz g4 other day force update leopard. booted target disk mode, wiped hard drive, , copied powermac g4 (1.25 ghz)'s hdd using carbon copy cloner. ejected imac , attempted boot up. powered up, instead of showing grey apple logo, showed error folder flashes between finder , '?'

tried booting disc drive too, won't open. impression imac not recognizing on ide cable. should now?

problem software, or hardware? how fix either way?

 

you may want check kind of wipe did drive. make sure of amp partition type , not guid.
