Help with folders that don't allow deletion

hey! downloaded file asked admin password install. foolishly, thought sneak past security , find files viewing contents. moved folders onto desktop, , can't remove them without admin passwords, reason. i've tried changing names, places, content, nothing works. these damn folders still here. way them out of here without admin password, or screwed?
