need restoring user's ical data. other users working fine, , can log in user , view (now empty) calendar, create test items, etc.
know data stored in postgres, , nightly backup made, need specific commands. also, i'm unclear general process...i'm guessing along these lines:
backup current db (manually, via command) restore old db pg 'dumpall' file log in user in question, export calendar restore current db import user's calendar in (from .ics file)
apple enterprise support not help, saying restoring postgres data beyond scope.
can provide appreciated. i've searched around not found documentation.
the easiest way if have working local copy on client machine , make sure not sync yet disable networking do. export ical data form ical. enable connection again or reset account , import data within ical should fine again.
