HELP: How to Restore SMS attachment backup (NO jailbreak)

hi guys,

restored iphone 4s factory settings because 'others' space eating 2gb of free space. backup phone prior restoring , used ibackupbot export sms.db/info , attachments jpg/info.

after restoring phone, made new backup , imported sms.db/info old backup realized attachments missing.


when try import attachments info phone using ibackupbot

get:


tried method: located attachment files old backup , copy them on new backup still not transfer phone.
suspect it's 'manifest.mbdb' backup registered in there. (highlighted files sms attachments)

have close 0 coding experience, have no idea how decipher file.


please damsel in distress, because not want restore old backup have corrupted files in there.

i'm glad made post. sorry don't have answer, hoping there 1 posted below, have restored iphone , i'm trying imessages, sms, , mms on photos , attachments in tact, camera roll. think these things should automatically there, messages. apple should set system sign in apple id , messages stream down on wifi or 3g. need backed in icloud , new message sent on server, copy saved icloud have entire message history - facebook messages do. that's 1 thing facebook has on apple right now. that, , ability see previews when hyperlinks posted message. if can find answer, i'll gladly post. post, , hope can find solution soon.
