Free calling on iTouch 2G

i have itouch 2g (ios 4.2.1) , gv account. used use talkatone make free calls america when un-installed , tried reinstall, said have update higher ios (although 4.2.1 highest itouch 2g can go).

know of other apps can use gv account still compatible old itouch? overseas , make calls home america.!
