64-bit windows 7 late 2008 macbook
have same macbook yours , installed windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. runs super, installation of bootcamp drivers isn't without hassle.
instead of installing through bootcamp after backed osx used disk utility (snow) leopard disc make 3 partitions. 2 of them formatted ms-dosfat other macos journaled (extended). can insert windows7 disc format partition wish use ntfs , install.
when windows installed, run windows , insert (snow) leopard disc install bootcamp drivers if installed 64-bit, disc 64bit not supported mac, ignore , try run under compatibility mode. if still doesn't install, install drivers folder apple manually , folder nvidia, realtek , separate app softwareupdater, find in (snow) leopard disc. later update bootcamp through bootcamp app installed in windows.
update bootcamp 3.3 need snow leopard disc , update after. or if run lion, go bootcamp , follow script burn bootcamp assistent , choose option download latest support windows 7
have 3 partitions third use data, check out ntfs 3g (not lion) , macfuse.
have installed win8 consumer preview 64 bit , runs despite random freeze , then.
