Anyone know if Barracuda ST500DM002 will work with Synology DS110j?

hello everyone,

i'm hoping might able me out. have been searching net answer on , i'm having no luck...

i'm going order synology ds110j , wanted order seagate barracuda 500gb hdd go it. i've searched on amazon , have barracuda st500dm002 listed @ price not mentioned on synology's compatibility (nor compatibility list) , websearch model not providing answers. know if work ds110j?

amazon has hdd listed new version of barracuda st3500641as (which *is* on synology's compatability list) - although i'm not 100% sure if correct this?

if shed light on matter, appreciated

 

looking through list of compatible hard drives, found seagate st750dm003 listed compatible. did quick search , found it's 750gb version of drive have (with 64mb cache instead of 16mb). assuming hard drives' controllers same between yours , 750gb version, i'd yours compatible too.

i'm not 100% positive on though (if had bet, would, not if life depended on ) you'd better off emailing synology , asking them.
