hello everyone! i'm having trouble on mid 2011 2.3ghz i5 mac mini running mac osx 10.7.2 lion - can't boot mac os x.
when turn on mac mini, gray screen flash, apple logo shows loading bar on bottom, load 20%... non-stop spinning gear shows up. have mac mini running hours , gear keep on spinning!
i've tried apple suggested except reinstall mac osx: reset smc, reset nvram, perform safe mode(didn't work), fix disk in disk utility(didn't work either), check cables, removed third-party ram(4gb samsung ram) etc.
not want lose files, not have backup of mac, have installed windows 7 (few months ago) on different partition on same harddisk. can boot windows fine , able access mac files.
reinstall mac osx lion seems option. know if there's software backup mac files on windows?
if transfer mac files new mac os able run application have been installed previous without installing them again?
best solution have old things way on new mac os without setting things on again? possible? please let me know.
