The Science of Dreams/Shared Dreams?

what think of movie called inception? find entertaining movie intriguing concepts of shared, stable, controlled dreams. wondering if premise of movie has realistic basis, not focused on idea of "inception" planting idea someone's dream, ability 1)experience stable dream can make choices , 2)share dream. have done either one? frankly, find premise unrealistic , best approach go flow , enjoy adventure , entertainment values presented.



here points:
1. in movie facilitates shared dream? believe machine hooked to, don't it. architect in movie creates dream space, show drawings. machine they hooked while dreaming loading dreamscape minds or controlled mind of "architect"?
2. how enter elses dream, dream controls setting without mind being able change things?
3. why target's brain 1 injecting projections dream space? in movie, cobb had real problem projection of wife interfering in shared dreams, why people on street projects target's mind?
4. in dreamscape devoid of normal physics, why injury debilitating? why need breath air, when under water? why age?
5. there known instances of having dream within dream?
6. in dream can make choices, less rational choices? have ever made choice in dream?

regarding dreams can attest have had full blown, full color, action dreams seem real, real, watching movie. don't remember making real choices. react , events unfold. i'll add when dreams become uncomfortable, have no problem waking myself up. have died in dreams , have defied death in dreams. in both cases events experience without emotion.

 

it might interesting see how can consciously affect dreaming.

so, try example, thinking how going control dream before going sleep, every night, while.

when younger used nightmares tell myself "don't dream" , somehow seemingly affected ability remember dreams after weeks/months - don't remember of dreams, @ all, now. i'm not sure if scientific or not happened me.. i'd curious if can same thing of "inception" ideas.
