Standby And Usage The Same

my iphone 4s started show usage & standby same. called apple care (friday 27th jan) , told them can't possibly correct, said "ah, known anomaly", go settings, general, scroll down version. if see version 5.0.1 (9a405) need (restore update").

after following instructions, iphone displays version 5.0.1 (9a406) plus usage & standby displaying correctly battery @ 71% usage 2 hours 17 minutes standby 14 hours, 0 minutes.
