on apples website lists tech specs of new ipad. 1 of them new 42.5whr battery. ipad2 has 25whr battery. new ipad has 2x battery. presumably done due power hungry lte.
question is, if wifi version has same battery, shouldn't 20+ hours? wonder if cripple in way. site lists same battery wifi models, if lacking cell circuitry, should sipping juice ipad 2.

the larger battery retina display well. there's disclaimer saying life vary depending on setup. more or less depending on ipad get.
