Skyrim on Mac

i downloaded skyrim mac , playing through winetricks i'm having problems getting game work properly.
have 15" macbookpro 2.4ghz 4gb ram, 1024mb vram , amd radeon hd6770 graphics card.
can run game on ultra high settings not long. it'll freeze in 2 or 3 minutes. ten fifteen when run on low settings. before sound cuts out.
i've searched online advice far nothing have done has worked.
if knows how can game work i'd appreciate it.
know might not work mac keep hearing people playing no problem.
