iTunes Media Server

hey everyone!

so, i'm planning on purchasing new macbook pro , have older 1 sitting around. wanted set own itunes match with added functionality of tv shows , movies streaming. i've been looking months , can't seem find tutorial suits requirements.

while hooked external hd (that use store itunes media) aebs extremely slow , had no easy way of getting via iphone or ipad.

ideas?

in advance!

 

i use mac mini media server, using plex manage , play movies , tv shows. still manage music itunes , use airplay play music on home entertainment speakers.
