have been using itunes home sharing since available - streaming appletv, laptops etc.
last of months have had problem connecting shared library if has not been used day or so.
local itunes jet sits there "loading".
fix have turn off on home sharing on remote computer , local machine loads immediately.
annoying , appreciate insights.
using latest os lion , latest itunes.
quite few people seem having problem, majority of people not. have latest lion , itunes , atv2/atv3 , home sharing connection has never dropped either device. using aebs.
suggest internet search "apple tv loses connection itunes" , view discussions in apple support communities see if can find solution there might work you.
btw, people report recycling router clears problem them.
