ipad 3G data sim card in USA

hi,
travelling usa @ end of month , , having me ipad 2 3g unlocked.
need buy prepaid data card it, easy although don't have american credit card.
1 me please find out easiest , cheapest way.

why can't buy cash? , if need credit card, can buy reloadable 1 or visa gift card , use credit card.
