iPad 3 to Have 1GB of RAM?

it's been in plain sight since beginning of february when bgr posted exclusive photos of debug output ipad 3 development unit. (full) last line says:



vm_page_bootstrap: 244276 free pages , 8396 wired pages

so, simple math:

244,276 (pages) x 4,000 bytes (size of page) = 977,104,000 bytes = 977mb

ipad 3 have 1gb of ram?







based on debug screenshots posted bgr, chronicwire believes ipad 3 (or ipad hd) being announced tomorrow have 1gb of ram total.

belief based on calculations based on vm_page_bootstrap number, yields number close 1gb of ram.

the verge had previously suggested new ipad have more ram, didn't specify amount. ipad 2 presently has 512mb of ram.
