iLife installer issue

i can't seem install ilife 11! have dvd, , i'm date, keeps coming errors. think i'm going have manual install (go inside packages , move files myself) however, there's no "show package contents" option. help?

what kind of errors? when troubleshooting, it's helpful quote exact text of error messages. model mac installing on, , version of mac os x running? what's in signature, or else?
