help with lion bootable disk

hi,

iv create bootable lion disk , used install clean install of lion on 2010 imac.. disk works fine..
problem when tried reinstall lion on macbook pro(without disk) failed when trying install os on mac.. erased hard drive.. figured clean install using disk.. when disk loads doesnt load disk utility options.. window says installing , after 15 seconds says there problem installing mac os x try reinstalling , have option ok.. dont care restoring want thing working again.
