here’s artists impression of device explained in depth me last week, i've dubbed itv.
funny thing this, there many in world waiting baited breath in anticipation of sublime, contemporarily styled high definition, 27” or more apple tv. perhaps coming in large white box.

strange, it’s highly it’s true. apple have habit of squeezing great things tiny packages.
new year found myself in chance meeting friend whom go way back, friend had not seen in time. funny thing is, thinking it, last time saw them when they’d told me wonderful new job opportunity they’d discovered, job opportunity in california.
5 years go , wouldn’t know it, find them sitting @ table opposite me, in restaurant in glasgow. our re-introductions went swiftly, i’d known them since child-hood, , pleasantries followed quite few pints of finest , dram or 3 went on past 5 years of each of our lives.
of evening spent talking general chit-chat; like, california beaches, weather , more mundane important stuff find talking about, once you’ve had couple more necessary.
evening drew close found had begun discussing projects had been started during time in new job, jobs had been completed , projects still on-going, 1 project in particular stood out @ me.

wireless high definition link connects idevices, example ipod touch, iphone or ipad , potentially others, tv using hdmi socket.
told apple itv powered hdmi socket on tv, no cables;
checked out, , sure enough, hdmi socket conveniently has 5v, 50ma supply built right in.
anyway, coupled custom app on idevice , app allows build own tv channel pretty web source , display on tv hdmiportvia wi-fi.
appears tie ins youtube, hulu , 4od , bbc iplayer have been tested , internet safari, on tv in living room, , controlled ipod touch, iphone or ipad.
such simple idea.

new apple itv gives full control of tv idevice, controls volume, mute, channel select , many more controlled on phone, pod or pad. yet clever standard feature, , uses hdmi consumer electronics control system works tv, compatible hdmi socket , seems are.
reliably told there absolutely no reason why not wirelessly send live sky sports video, assuming have sky contract or skygo, via mobile phone tv.
in fact, doesn’t have tv, it’s based on wireless , hdmi , works mobile phone, can take friends house , watch footy, if haven’t got sky.
don’t need tv aerial or sky dish, tv hdmi.
of course still need decent internet connect, these days, hasn’t?
