so know how spotlight everywhere on iphone including in messages app. well, if you've been carrying on conversation long time little click here button @ top of conversation thread says "show previous messages". messages shows 50 recent messages in thread, though can reveal more continually clicking button.
well, search ignores previous 50. no matter how many times click button show previous still have go conversation list search bar , searching there searches messages shown default. means looks @ recent 50 each conversation. seems kind of useless me. else?
test this, put weird in there, (you can message yourself) 'quijibo'. send 49 more message can still scroll , see quijibo. search it, shows in search. send 1 more message quijibo first thing behind click here show older messages button. try search again. no results.
