Cannot connect to router (connection timeout)

hello,

i'm trying connect router in house , getting connection timeout every time try connect. have 13 inch mba , having trouble connecting 1 router. have 2 in our house now, 1 of can connect fine, other keeps saying connection timeout, when in same room router. have 2 routers hooked range.

other computers/xbox's in our house connecting particular router fine, including mac (macbook pro). wondering if had ideas. i've tried adding network manually or connecting straight through wifi, both have same "connection timeout" results. running lion 10.7.2.

i have same issue when trying connect girlfriend's wi-fi. have never found solution. believe router d-link. brand yours?
