Airport connection speed

hey guys

when first got airport extreme came version 7.2 , set got 300mbit/s rated speed macbook , mac pro getting 270mbit/s according network utility. on last year or whatever update has came out , got capped @ 130 , couldn't figure out causing

first thought 10.7 , going install 10.6 see if problem thought before did revert version of ap software down few , somehow solved problem in update has slowed wireless connection down , maybe had wide channel network

else experienced this? ta

 

i have not experienced issue. have latest version installed , running without issue (and mbp reports 450 throughput speeds when sitting in office, ae resides).

utilizing auto-channel selection, may causing issues if selecting less optimum connection or 1 crowded (i have no idea how algorithm determines optimum channel selection , set own manually based upon site survey).
