there numerous reviews hailing 3rd generation ipad (or "new ipad" some...) landmark achievement bringing boundary pushing technology, la retina display , graphics, while maintaining "essence" of ipad.
other reviews downplaying significance of such upgrade , choose dub iteration "ipad 2s". have gone far saying letdown of sorts , not worth upgrade or purchase @ price.
well, have in hands now. think? worth upgrade? major upgrade or minor? letdown?
sounds off quasi-reviews...

think major major upgrade. packing retina display , better graphics while maintaining battery performance, form factor, , overall snappiness astonishing me.
1 quote sums me comes techcrunch:
remember few years ago when using crt monitors resolutions of 800-by-600? needed plugged in , sit on desk plenty of room behind it. , weighed upwards of 30 pounds. think when hold new ipad.
not ipad 2s or little upgrade.
