Use iPad stylus for Macbook air? + Inklet question

hello, folks,

might incredibly stupid question: apologies, not @ tech-savvy. i'm looking stylus + software combination give mba trackpad tablet-like capabilities: want sketch bit in gimp. software, i've played around inklet, seems reasonable price.

styli more difficult: cheapie pogosketch stylus that's sold inklet sounds works, reviews it's not sturdy or ergonomic. nicer styli, wacom bamboo stylus or targus stylus marketed ipad. while never explicitly work on, say, touchpad mba, specs targus work on "all capacitive touch surfaces."

, lastly, tenone, of course, implies 1 should use pogo sketch inklet.

guess comes down 2 questions, then:

1. ipad stylus work on mba trackpad/is trackpad "capacitive touch surface"?
2. inklet work 1 brand of stylus? seems bit silly me, incredibly ignorant, tech-wise, , perhaps expect much.

hope makes sense , haven't posed silly of question. thank much!

can't comment on inklet, yes capacitive stylus work on glass trackpads. however, unlike tablet drawing board (like wacom bamboo), mouse cursor pickup left off. inversely on drawing tablet if pick pen tip , place in different corner, mouse cursor reappear in point on screen. not big deal, if accustomed drawing tablet, trackpad + pen not feel right.
