step 1: in cydia, add source:
http://cydia.myrepospace.com/jamied360/ , refresh
step 2: install ratinfo source
step 3: go settings > notifications > ratinfo widget > (on)
step 4: pull down notification center. you'll see alert. write down (or screenshot) values appear
step 5: press '3g off'.notification center 'stick' (bug), lock/unlock device
tep 6: test see if have working (but slow) data connection on 2g (turn wi-fi off, , browse internet test), or if lose reception altogether
step 7: important: open notification center , press '3g on' on alert
step 8: can uninstall ratinfo. tell me results steps 4 , 6
it's easy , painless far know 1 (on cdma network) out far , wants test @ least 3 times. if can i'm sure he'd appreciate it!

step 6: data connection working on 2g (very slow expected); few sites loaded fine on safari browser (did not notice lost reception)
