morning/afternoon all.
got new ipad 32g on at&t. upgrading at&t 3g ipad gave wife.
far i'm not impressed. friday swapped out sim ipad2 new ipad. got 4g indicator not live in lte area.
when went settings got message said needed 4g compatible sim card , needed visit att it. so, saturday went in new sim new ipad. still says 4g did before.
(side note, at&t rep working told me 4g lte. silly rabbit tricks kids. bad training. when mentioned hspa+ brain must have shorted due blank stare getting....)
live in central nj. tests show no speed improvements on ipad2.
once in office in downtown nyc, not see lte indicator , speed tests abysmal. 1.1m down , 100k up. test right after got me 900k down , 50k up. yes, 50k up.
tried resetting ipad (shutting off , turning on red wipe turn off) , made sure lte enabled in settings. tried resetting network settings too. still no lte indicator.
can else in nyc comment or tell me if missing something?
not true. use same sim card ipad came with. sign in account, select data, wait few minutes , it's done.
