Safari in 32 or 64 bit mode


i trying run ms hotmail skydrive (sd) on mbp.
can add files sd via chrome or firefox osx.
can't safari. it's not big deal, use safari of time.
played around on web , found if change safari open in 32 bit mode, sky drive accept file additions, etc.
why should or not this??
checking "open in 32 bit mode" box rest of safari experience??
