Lion Recovery Partition - how to make an actual disk/USB key?

i had reload '11 mb air due funny stuff going on tried recovery partition.

how make recovery usb key? 5 hours download os , install it. don't find unacceptable do. absolutely worthless if have wait hours upon hours reinstall os of machine compared 30-35 minutes off key.

can make recovery key or going have pester apple give me one?
