Is 30'' ACD still worth considering at this moment?

i saw post on local kijiji 30'' aluminium acd selling 850. monitor seems released long time ago , it's ccfl back-lit. guys think still worth investment? thanks.

 

personally, i'd take thunderbolt display if macs support it, if not, 30" acd nice.
