iPhone taking ages to 'erase and reset'

i jailbroke iphone yesterday, since slowed down much, decided against , went on erase , reset wipe jailbreak , start again. it's been on spinning lines icon 2 hours now, , im worried, didnt think normal? help?

 

yes, takes forever, shouldn't have done erase rid of jb. restoring have sufficed. glwt now.
