Aperture, iPhoto and ATV2

my wife has lot of pictures... , mean lot! she's filled 1tb internal drive nothing pictures. can say? cute kids.

long-time user of iphoto... started bogged down. bought , installed aperture her. brought in iphoto library , download new pics aperture. seemed fine while...

aperture getting bogged down. read threads here sending masters external drive. method sounds promising , have 1.5tb drive standing when concerns answered.

here questions:

1. since iphoto library bulk of aperture library, can move iphoto library external drive? if so, solve of problems immediately. if not, can "remove" iphoto library aperture, move , re-link it?

2. if move masters , iphoto libraries external drive... still able view of pictures on atv2? wife loves feature... it's getting harder , harder computer fills up.
