can use usb installer apple sells online upgrade macbook lion? though sig says has lion, has leopard. also, if somehow got dmg of installer (theoretically, because i'm dont know 1 anyway), restore usb , install? have clean install?
also, when upgrade os x, installer delete system, keep files, , install new system... or overwrite old stuff , put in new? because don't want waste space on mac...
forget upgrading if you're going lion leopard. won't work. data first.
can restore lion dmg usb , boot usb. make fresh install , you're go!
if have snow leopard systems, can perform system upgrade, os replaced, keeps files, settings, etc.
anyway, there's no harm waiting until september (because 10.8 mountain lion come out around time)
