Unresponsive keyboard and mouse for 8 min after boot

hello everyone,

imac 2011 lion 10.7, upgraded 10.7.2 10.7.3

issue: takes 8 minutes keyboard responsive after boot. batteries fresh , keyboard connected. had automatic logon disabled , login screen showing, typed username <tab> password <enter>. took 8 minutes lion log me in.

enabled automatic login, logs me in , shows desktop keyboard still in la-la land 5-8 minutes. mouse semi-working, pointer moves clicking "paused" same amount of time.

experiencing issue? waiting 8 freakin' minutes able rather annoying.

issue present in 10.7.2 , 10.7.3

 

do have lot of apps want restore state upon reboot?
process can take minutes, , can involve funky keyboard/mouse behavior.
try unchecking "restore app state upon restart" box before shut down.
