Damaged the clip for the left fan on the logic board

hi,
reflowed dead logic board , amazement, fired right up.
however, when removing it, inadvertently damaged "socket" on logic board left fan plugs into.
it's worth, socket history.
computer operates normally, left fan doesn't work.
there jerry-rig way can fan working?
perhaps running wires right side , splicing right fan?
i'm open suggestion.
can still use computer cooling pad , monitor temperature, great fan working. know people add cooling fans computers—how power them?
thanks,

i have had happen me, disassembling first unibody mac , accidentally tore entire socket (rather plug) off logic board.

can either

a) buy new/used logic board.

b) use soldering iron (very fine) solder connectors onto logic board.

used second method, because didn't feel spending $500 new logic board. warned, messing soldering iron can lead trashed logic board! try taking electronics store , see if can repair you.

also, 1 of fans (i can't remember which) used pull air vent system , other used push out. it's not it'll stop cooling instantly, make significant impact on efficiency of heat dissipation.
