since changing iphone 4 4s have noticed data usage rocket on new iphone 4s. @ first when noticed did not know causing yesterday downloaded app check apps causing high data usage.
iphone jailbroken don't think has bearing on problem data usage high before jailbroke iphone.
today iphone downloaded 15 emails spamarrest mail account since midnight totaled 264k on spamarrest web site. according app inetuseage mail app downloaded 27.45mb of data since midnight!
wrong these figures! how can 15 basic emails amount 27.45mb of data, not 1 had attachment!
have read of mail app checking mail in loop caused high upload data usage in case problem download usage.
have "push" switched on icloud mail account. have not received main account today. have other email account, spamarrest account set fetch @ 15 minute intervals. changing these settings reduce data download usage?
i appear standard text email using 1.75mb of data down load. - did test email last night on computer sail 3k when looked @ counter on iphone went 1.75mb. morning downloaded 5 regular emails added 12.8mb of data counter
"push" , "fetch" features don't seem make difference download amount!
