Incipio Smart Feather fit problem (gap near volume button)

i received smart last night , installed immediately. in general case, there problem fit along right side of ipad (near volume button). case seems fit on left side overlaps smart cover , on 4 corners, there noticeable gap case not overlap edge of ipad. i’ve tried re-installing case few times gap remains. sorry poor pq, picture shows gap well.

btw, not have skin or else between ipad , smart feather.

normal, or have defective case?

mine fits throughout right edge best skins ever skin installed.
