cannot upgrade iphoto????

hello,

hope can me, using imac g5 desktop, running 10.5.8. current iphoto running 5.0.4, use higher version, want able more photos, , able sort photos in events.
have tried using apple support page thingy, , have downloaded , tried upgrade iphoto 6.0.4 , 7.1.5 both times got error message saying that:an eligible iphoto application not found in location /applications/iphoto.app.

can now? can me?

 

you can't download updates, not full app ... need buy newer version of ilife.
