If Apple was still trying, could they make a PowerBook/iBook G5 by now?

apple said trying long time now, , heard of chip called power7 (not sure if it's powerpc i'm pretty sure) running in laptop. heard (like 6 years ago) apple's shift intel temporary(i skeptical of that). mean, g5 imacs computers. thought if apple could've found way make g5 notebook, performance would've been okay today's standards, though guess performance more find in cheaper laptop. i'm not saying should've or would've been better, wondering.

 

not unless there vast improvements g5 ...
