3 year old Macbook is it fixable and how much?

well seeing im on hear might swell ask
old macbook got 3 year ago birthday running mac os x 10.5, 2 ghz processor 2 gig of ram dual core etc etc....\recently light on has gone lights 2-3 mins light shuts off , way close lid , reopen lid , again light lasts 3-4 mins, know still working when first happened on photoes , make out photo moving tried scrolling question is light fixable break? , how think itll cost me repaired?

 

replaceable? yes, may cost more it's worth....:
