i have windows activation error 0xc004c008 inside vmware fusion. when reboot botcamp/windows activation says fine. don't see how 1 copy of windows can both activated , not activated @ same time unless vmware interfering somehow??
history did bootcamp install of windows 7 week or 2 ago , went well, windows activated fine. bought fusion , brought bootcamp version osx works great. week later activation eror above, again when in bootcamp partition through vmware. booted bootcamp partition natively without vmware can updates , check activation , looks good.
haven't called windows activation yet, going have trouble them?
saw 1 other post specific code had coaching on should when call in, have advice on well? apparently need avoid mentioning dreaded mac.
normal behavior when running thru vm ... windows sees different hardware configuration.
proceed reactivate thru phone , both activations (different hardware profiles ) ok.
each time change vm configuration ( give more memory perhaps ) need re-activate don't change or without reasons!
