so, considering purchasing imac within next couple months, post deployment present myself, considering building myself , making second hackintosh. last 1 had hacked middle lower end of road pc had, , successful in days of tiger doing in '07 , upgrading leopard. figured, hey, got know how, , knows how overpriced apple branded products are, can , save myself money. "built" computer (i put in quotes because added prices in shopping carts of different sites) today , realized computer close comparable in every aspect of imac possible, cost me more , haven't added in price of software. (as dishonest people may view creating hackintosh, not condone software piracy means. pay software use.) being said though, can't see why go through headache of building , hacking computer work, no matter how easy had become since "good ol' days", if have pay more it! note not have parts desktop @ time, i'd have buy parts necessary, , counting price of screen in. price point set @ 27" 3.4 ghz i7 imac, upgraded vid card. feel free weigh in on opinions on this, because shocked see difference. did not consider military discount have made price difference more in favor of imac. end of rant, listening.
