slight problem - advice on restoring please.

i need restore mac mini factory default selling it.
mid 2010 model (was snow leopard) upgraded lion.
..this may seem odd sold keyboard , trackpad few months app touchpad iphone/ipad needed. had hooked tv, used films really.

anyway, apples guide restoring factory defaults seem require keyboard hold down c power (with dvd installed) able this?

have copy of lion os x made before upgraded it, ive put in & i'm @ te stage saying installed macintosh hd.
i'm on 'desktop' doing don't think going able wipe clean hdd first it? - re-install lion...which kinda pointless.

have got new macbook air, im on now...whether can somehow connect on macmini start up? ..doubt though, same 'touchpad' connects after powerup

so, there way can without having borrow keyboard somewhere?

 

you going want wipe disc (and use multi-pass, complete nuke option) expect. re-install os.

can use usb keyboard @ all, if happen have one. doesn't have mac keyboard. no computer in house @ keyboard? worst case, borrow friend/relative's, guess?
