Resolved Blank Help menu

this driving me crazy. i've had couple months , still can't figure out how solve problem.

when click menu item on app, blank. can highlight , select whatever supposed there, reason blank.


i've found numerous posts on apple's discussion page , other sites people have fixed issue deleting com.apple.help*.plist files , folders in home\library\cache , home\library\preferences. i've done , removed itunes helper startup recommended 1 site menus still blank

.plist files still gone after restarting i'm guessing macbook not rebuilding .plist files.

it's 2ghz intel core duo macbook running 10.6.8. appreciated

does happen in another, temporarily created, user account?
