Questions/suggestions about MBP before potential purchase

my old laptop died on me i'm in need of new laptop , i'm considering getting 13 inch mbp (within budget).

thing is, i've been windows user years, , things attractive mpb follows:

1) built/reliable
2) doing mobile development new job later in year (august) , might touching on ios, i'll need mac that
3) guess past experiences, development on mac "smoother" - did android development, don't need install additional drivers etc.
4) make music (record tracks/produce) - not pro means, guess macs better in aspect though windows has been (fl studio/adobe audition)

what's holding me back:
1) don't osx based on experiences @ work, still prefer/plan use windows (most of time)
2) better specs lower price windows laptop

now, worth getting mbp when i'm going (mainly) using windows on it? annoying? of course when comes work/development i'll using osx. other advantages/disadvantages guys think of?

also, troublesome access osx files on windows , vice versa? mean like, have separate files between osx/windows? know depends on how format partitions, if i'm use windows lot, mean have dedicate large portion of 500gb ntsf?

guess 15 inch has better specs, it's expensive me @ moment , have external monitor should fine.

, i'm stuck on whole "buy vs wait" dilemma, i'll still buy if decide on mbp.

other laptops i'm considering are:

lot, , forward feedback!

i don't understand dilemma. need mac work since might developing ios apps. options? buy windows laptop , ask employer provide mac?

500 gb hdd should have enough space big ntfs , big osx partition. can access files either side, recommend not writing "other" partition.
