Problems after replacing Power & Sensor cable

my iphone 4 took short fall off of couch onto hardwood floor. nothing cracked, issue power button no longer depress correctly.

after running iphone battery dead, since couldn't power off, took apart , verified power , sensor cable missing tiny black nub on power button.

put iphone , powered on charger. came on no issues, else functioned no issues.

ordered power & sensor cable ifixit. after receiving it, drained battery again phone power off , replaced cable. sure take of parts off old cable weren't included new cable.

after installation (no cables torn, intact), powered iphone on. time though, powered on , off power button!

however, there huge issue now. screen resolution horrible , there "lines" running horizontally across screen. looks going hd sd (maybe worse). there's no flickering @ though.

other issue proximity sensor not seem working. did few test calls, , lcd not blacking out when bring phone ear.

i've tried searching, , i'm seeing either cables aren't connected or screen bad. considering how proceeded repair, , fact screen fine before replaced cable, i'm not 100% convinced screen has gone bad.

did full reset on iphone see if possible there else going on, same results. sensor not working , screen jacked up. next step try , put old cable in, see if @ least screen goes normal.

possible have wrong power , sensor cable that's causing issue screen?? thanks!!!
