Moov atom location

2 questions:

1) once file has been optimized (moov atom placed @ beginning), necessary re-optimize file after editing metadata?

2) have 300 m4v movies. have been optimized (either using subler or handbrake), not (older rips). there way, on mac, tell mood atom located? don't want taking time re-optimize if it's not needed.

 

1) don't need re-optimize after editing metadata. need when add or remove tracks file, might not necessary.

2) not sure one. if haven't added/removed tracks files, shouldn't need re-optimize it. however, if want safe, ballpark newest older rip , re-optimize , older .m4v files. optimizing dvd-quality movies/files doesn't take long. also, since you're using subler, don't forget set que optimize files , auto-start, streamline batch optimizing process.
