while rumors of ipad 3 shipments being en route having been circulating time now, we're hearing shipping representatives @ other companies having difficult time getting products shipped on united states china apple's preparations ipad 3 launch have squeezed air freight industry.

1 shipping representative told macrumors last week freight broker in china has been scrambling find space company's shipments, shipping rates rising 20% in 1 week apple has snapped available capacity @ premium rates. shipping manager told similar story today, company being unable find space usual carrier due apple's demand , having scramble find alternatives moving products overseas.

we've been hearing 2 weeks apple has been moving ipad 3 units united states, staging them through shipping carrier's hub facilities under high security. can @ least 1 of ipad 3 part numbers has been seen making way united states. second part number, mc744ll/a, has far not been linked specific product, has been spotted.

appears apple planning ipad 3 available after introduction on wednesday. consequently, company has been working hard move massive quantities of device position rapid deployment stores around united states , presumably number of other countries included in first round of launches.
