A1176 Question: Upgrading RAM

hey guys, have quick question.

have 2008, intel mac mini. 1.83 intel core 2 duo, 1gb 667 mhz ddr2 sdram, etc. can model number (a1176) details. none of hardware has been upgraded (yet!).

when purchased mac, apple store gave me option 2gb (and went 1gb). upgrading now, limited hardware upgrade 2gb or can go 4 gb (2 x 2gb)? far can tell, any of these should work unless there's kind of hardware/software limitation keep me @ 1 gb per stick.

can go 4gb? feedback! appreciate mac community. guys great!
