ok, i'm new mac user new system purchase! i'm planning out mac system have question. i'd mb air , imac. portability of air , still need permanent home server solution media, itunes, movies, etc. if new mb air , new imac system(s), i'd use imac display @ times air. not problem - thunderbolt! while air using imac's display through thunderbolt display mode imac computer still operate in background? if i'm running itunes on imac through downstairs theater system music or movies off imac, want use thunderbolt mode hook air imac's display, imac's computer still play without interruption on network, or imac's computer become hibernated or temporarily "offline"?
