i wasn't sure if question have been better suited lion forum, figured there's better expertise in forum question. got new macbook air work. it's going week before network admin able office (he's remote) join mba corporate active directory domain. asked me not mba until can me connected domain. said not install or customizations it. question why? admitted doesn't know lot macs, i'm wondering if he's being overly cautious because doesn't know better or if there's valid reason why shouldn't start setting things in terms of installing office 2011, omniplan, omnigraffle, firefox, etc before can join me active directory domain?
so i'm guessing you're logged onto mac using account setup when first started mac.
if has start using active directory account, that's separate account account you're using now.
if spend lot of time getting settings , preferences perfect account you're using now, , have switch totally different account, might lot of work nothing.
